On May 15, 2018, Medic Vision Imaging Solutions received FDA clearance for their intelligent Quick MR (iQMR) image enhancement software. This software, which uses iterative image reconstruction technology, is meant to improve the quality of noisy MRI images by increasing the signal-to-noise ratio. As a result, users of all types of MRI scanners can use shorter protocols and experience increased productivity, fewer repeat studies, and a better patient experience. Medic Vision plans to demonstrate Quick MR iQMR at the American Society of Neuroradiology annual meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition, a study by Dr. Lawrence Tanenbaum of RadNet will be presented at the same conference, discussing how the software can reduce the need for routine brain MRI scans.
