Gateway Diagnostic Imaging (GDI) operates 12 sites in North Texas. Striving to increase their operational efficiency GDI implemented the AI-assisted iQMR on their MRI scanners.
Short MRI protocols were defined for all body parts without adversely affecting image and diagnostic quality and the RIS was updated accordingly, to improve productivity and efficiency.
Results:
- Scan time was reduced by 20% on average for all body parts.
- Image quality of the short scans is as good or better than that of the original (longer) scan.
- Productivity grew by 4 exams a day per scanner.
